The Tiong Bahru Estate holds a wealth of Singapore history even before Independence in 1965. The committee was looking to have a Christmas decoration that highlights this monumental achievement.

Built in In July 1951, this pair of iron gate was erected together with the original Community Centre and it has been selected to be decorated for this Christmas
